The British Aerospace Jetstream 41 is a stretched version of the Jetstream 31/32 usually configured with 29 or 30 passenger seats. Its design added 16ft to the length of the fuselage, necessitated a revised wing design, and powerful Garrett 331-14 engines generating 1,500 SHP. Other improvements over its 31/32 predecessor include updated flight deck and a higher stance as the wing is mounted below the fuselage (no spar running across the center aisle).
The Jet 41 was certified for U.S. operations in 1993 and 100 aircraft were produced.
